This Delete Your Account Policy (“Policy”) explains how you can permanently delete your 2nd Opinion Now account, what happens to your data upon deletion, and how we handle your privacy throughout the process.

By using our Platform (web or mobile), you agree to this Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Account Deletion Overview

You have the right to delete your 2nd Opinion Now account at any time. Once deleted:

• Your personal data, including profile information, activity logs, and saved preferences, will be permanently removed or anonymized from our systems.
• Content posted on anonymous walls will remain visible to preserve discussion integrity but will no longer be associated with your identity or account.
• Any identifiable data shared within the community (non-anonymous posts, comments, likes) will be deleted or anonymized based on system capability.

3. How to Delete Your Account

To permanently delete your account:

4. Data Retention After Deletion

Once your account is deleted:

• We will retain only minimal data as required by law (e.g., for legal, security, or regulatory purposes).
• Backup copies may exist temporarily (up to 30 days) as part of secure system backups before being automatically purged.
• Any data anonymized for analytics or research will not be traceable to your identity.

5. Impact of Deleting Your Account

Upon deletion:

• You will lose access to all your data, posts, and interactions.
• Your account cannot be recovered once deleted.
• If you later choose to rejoin, you will need to create a new account from scratch.
