Common questions

Second opinion

Bring your numbers to someone who can see the rest

A calculator sees three or four figures. A specialist sees your history, your scans, your partner's results, and how you actually responded to treatment. If you're between cycles, changing clinics, or something in your results doesn't add up, a second opinion is the fastest way to find out whether anything would be done differently.

Free first consultation. No obligation to start treatment, and it doesn't affect your care at your current clinic.

These tools provide general information and are not a diagnosis or a substitute for assessment by a qualified clinician. Reference ranges and sources are stated on each calculator. Predictive estimates describe groups of people and cannot predict an individual outcome.

Male fertility

Male factor is solely responsible in around a fifth of couples and contributes in a further third. It is the most under-served area in fertility, and the most useful place to start testing early.

The half of fertility that gets half the attention

Male factor is solely responsible in around 20% of couples and contributes in a further 30%. Despite that, assessment is often delayed until after the female partner has been through months of investigation. Both partners tested at the same time is standard practice, not an escalation.

The timing detail that changes what people do: sperm production runs about 74 days plus two weeks of transit. A sample reflects conditions from roughly three months ago — so a fever in February shows in a May test, and stopping smoking today will not move a result next week.
